Factors such as tweeting the experiment to get more users involved and the natural personalization factors that come into play as a logged in Google user also may have skewed their test results.”
The experiment was conducted on the home page, a static tool page and the blog post page of the SEO Effect website. Almost 70 plusone account holders collaborated and the studies were conducted for 30 days.
It varied for the 3 pages. The Home Page witnessed increased visibility across various keywords, while the static tool page saw increased clicks and visibility. Impressions and clicks for blog page also increased.
