We write press release to disclose and spread a news amongst readers. Press releases are becoming a successful way of Internet advertising. These not only provide valuable inbound links, but also increases traffic and thus your chances of getting located by search engines. But, all your efforts will get waste if the press release is not newsworthy or if it is distributed via a non-credible PR distribution site. There are only a few PR services providers who can provide you maximum visibility and credibility on the Internet. Follow these guidelines while choosing a press release distribution site:
- You should use a site that has a Google pagerank of 4 and above because sites with no pagerank will lower the credibility of the PR.
- Approach a site that allows you to optimize the press release for search engines by using header tags, tagging, anchor text and other SEO techniques.
- Keep away from sites that use NoFollow tags. These tags are inserted into website code in order to stop the search engine from finding the site.

site : http://princesimon.com
please add this to your list
So if the initial advice is to choose a press release site with a page rank of 4 or higher in Google, why did you provide all those page rank 5, 6, 7, 8 locations? Maybe I'm thinking backwards. But higher to me means closer to #1? Should I be thinking higher means closer to 10?
Thanks,
Yes, page ranks go from 1 to 10, higher numbers mean better.
Thanks for the helpful info. We've recently started paying much closer attention to how our press releases impact our web site and overall traffic. There are of course no shortage of a PR lists online, but none anywhere near as informative on the actual impact on our pagerank. Much appreciated!
so what service would you recommend for all round PR exposure for 24 to 30 PRs a year of 500 to 850 words each? Some kind of package arrangement, with a PR company with a page ranking of 6+? thanks.
This is very useful. Thanks for the list.

Blogging as Idiots
The press releases websites that are given here are very helpful for the people to get into the field&.. Thanks for sharing&
Great information. You really spend some effort on this. It most certainly helps me and I shall be using most of the sites you have listed here for my blog.
I totally agree with this review – spot on. Some of the websites give great results, but the design can be shocking. Trying to remedy this with a more user-friendly, 100% free press release site at http://www.releasewire.org/ … it's only a month old and obviously doesn't have the PageRank yet, but hopefully one to watch!
Forgot to mention, in case anyone needs any tips writing their press release, take a look at: http://www.releasewire.org/how-to-write-a-press-r… – tried to pack in all the best advice I can thik of. And for pitching the release, there's http://www.releasewire.org/how-to-pitch-a-press-r…. Let me know how you get on with the advice!
A new press release site that's gaining some traction is pressreleaser.org The site design is clean and functional, and it free like all the others you have listed here.
You could also mention http://www.mycompanypr.com which is targeted at the B2B community – its free as well.
Very interesting topic…This information is very useful to get top most rankings in SEO. Thanks for your information keep on updating with relevant topics..Contact us for more SEO services, We provide the best SEO services for your business.
Good work. Thanks.
Thank you a lot. This seems like the most comprehensive list with Page Ranks on web.
http://www.pr9.net/ seems like the one you could ad to your list. Page Rank 4 at the moment.
Thank you for huge work done!
