Google's pledge about Google Analytics not keeping a track of Chrome usage in the initial stage post its launch was recently overridden, as they did add the Chrome tracking on September, 4th, 2008. This tracking devise has facilitated the various website owners to review the number of users accessing their particular website through the Chrome Browser.

Page Traffic quickly followed suit and got into the tracking act only to find that 5.17% of the entire strength of the PT Blog users are finding their way into this portal through the Chrome Browser. Chrome has very quickly found itself the spot of being the third most popular browser among the readers of the PT Blog, after Firefox (49.24%) and Internet Explorer (40.73%).

So far so good, Chrome!
