Google recently made an update to its ad customizers, which will allow you to customize your ad text based on the location the searchers are searching for your business.

Announcing through Google+, Google said, "today, we are announcing an enhancement to ad customizers – you can now customize your ad text based on where people are searching for your business."

While the ad customizers already allowed advertisers to customize their ads by dynamically inserting relevant information like promotions, inventory, etc., now it allows them to insert locally relevant data into their text ads, based on the information uploaded by them through a feed to AdWords.

Below Google has given some ways for you to use location in ad customizers, and how you can connect your customers with the information they are searching for.

  • Share your most up-to-date inventory, store hours and location so customers can quickly take action in the moment
  • Show unique shipping times for specific regions to help customers decide when to purchase a needed item in time
  • Highlight specific discounts, promotions, or events for each of your locations so customers can take advantage of offerings in their area
