According to Omniture site report, Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) and Omniture, Inc. (Nasdaq:OMTR) announced on Tuesday that the two companies have entered into an agreement of acquisition of Ominture by Adobe. The value of this deal between the two companies is approximately $1.8 billion on a fully diluted equity-value basis. As per the agreement, Adobe will start a tender offer for acquiring all of the outstanding common stock of Omniture for $21.50 per share in cash.

It is said that Adobe's acquisition of Omniture optimizes its mission of revolutionizing the world with great ideas and information. By combining Adobe's content creation tools and ubiquitous clients with Omniture's Web analytics, Adobe will be able to deliver solutions that can completely transform the future of e-commerce across all digital content sources and devices.
