In a recent study, Adobe Analytics has revealed that AMP has grown by 405 % since April 2016 and during the US Presidential elections the traffic spiked upto 896%. The AMPs now account for7% of traffic for top US publishers. This data is true as of December 2016.

Adobe analysed more than 1.7 trillion visits to over 16,000 mobile websites (between Jan. 2014 and Jan. 2017). AMP just celebrated its first anniversary and it seems the consumers have given a thumbs up to the technology as this is a fast and efficient way to access content on the mobile devices.
