AOL Introduces Indian Language Portal

AOL launches a local language version of its web search portal in India called AOL India Portal informs Arnold Zafra.

AOL President and COO Ron Grant said that, "These are also important steps in our ongoing efforts to make AOL a truly global company, we started this year with three international portals in Europe, and we will end 2008 with a presence in 30 countries around the world."

Dear Navneet,

thank you for posting about the international launch of Truveo and the new Indian AOL portal!

Can I point out though that the URL of the Indian portal is http://www.aol.in, and not http://www.aol.in.com.
