Who is not afraid of supplemental results. But Matt Cutts has asked people not to be frightened of supplemental results as he states “I’ve got pages from my site in the supplemental results, for example.” In summer of 2005 a software rewrite of infrastructure for supplemental results was started. Supplemental results are getting fresher.
There are many advantages of a site map as it is useful for your visitors in navigating and finding their related information in a quick and effective fashion. Google Sitemap serves the same function for spiders and bots.
Jim Boykin gives an over view of link buying and link building strategy. He says that:
Keep in mind that we don’t go for homepage links (99% only powerful subpages), and we work on getting links within the content area of webpages (something that looks like this), and sometimes we add co-citation (something I don’t want to talk about today). And yes, if we can get our ads above the fold, with a nice banner to boot, that’s even better (but not always possible).
Matt Cutts has given the infrastructure report of the current month. The quarterly PageRank export is on its way. Do not think the rankings and traffic will change dramatically as the PageRank values have already been integrated in the Google scoring. PageRank in the toolbar is updated by quarterly data push and it also updates data of the concerned info and links. At times supplemental results in a site are shown before regular results for which Matt Cutts says “ I believe we’ve changed that so that regular results will usually show ahead of supplemental results for site: queries.

Google has been voted the bast place to work in a list of '100 Best Companies To Work For 2006' by Fortune magazine. Lately there have been comments from ShoeMoney regarding SEO which were perceived as extremely derogatory by some. According to ShoeMoney, 95% of SEO is very easy and it is the only remaining 5% which actually requires brainstorming. He said that though SEO is not trash but it is given lot of importance by people although they can get ranks by a domain and url. SEO companies are not bullshit but there have been people who know very less about SEO and still rule the SERPs.
Jim Lanzone, CEO, Ask.com in an interwiew with ZDNet’s Donna Bogatin says that he favors to see himself functioning as a 'chef' remixing content components to make an effective search experience for searchers on the Web. In the interview Donna asks some direct and interesting questions to which Lanzone replies is the most intelligently adequate manner. This interview is pretty informative.
