YouTube in partnership with 93.5 RED FM has launched the “Indie Music Outreach” for aspiring artistes to learn more from the experts at YouTube about tapping this online channel. YouTube experts will help aspiring musical talent to showcase their skills on a global platform of 1 million+ viewers with elan and fanfare at this event.

“Indie Music Outreach” gives anyone and everyone who loves music and is from different genres, categories and linguistic backgrounds a chance to learn more about how to use YouTube to promote their talent. The only requirement is that musical aspirants must own a YouTube Channel. Folks can sign up for free at YouTube to get their own channel. The Indie Music Outreach sessions will be held on the following dates and at these locations in India, according to the Google blogspot:

  • Mumbai: November 7
  • Gurgaon: November 10
  • Bangalore: November 11
  • Chennai: November 13
  • Guwahati: November 15

Following the sessions, there will be a set of Music Video Production Workshops where experts will share practical tips and inputs about how to use home lights for visual effects, producing videos in low cost, shooting via mobile devices and much more.

After this, 20 bands/artistes will be chosen by 93.5 RED FM based on the performance in the post session workshops and videos produced following the initial sessions. Production support will be given to those selected for a Music Video in Jam Format from 93.5 RED FM. Music is not only the food of love, it makes the world go round as well and those who have a passion for this should definitely fill out the form and join in.
