Bing Ads has announced the version 2 of Keyword Planner Tool which will give new competitive insights and benchmarking, customizable ad group and keyword bids, a new source for keyword suggestions and time range customization up to 24 months for keyword search volume.
Users can input landing page URL or the entire website to generate keyword suggestions that are more relevant.
Time range can be customized up to 24 months instead of the default 12 months to get a more holistic view of the popular keywords over the years. This will be helpful when running seasonal campaigns.
You can also review the relative ad impression share for suggested keywords and compare it to competitor domains to identify missed opportunities and focus on the keywords for which the ad impression is lower as compared to other advertisers.
Besides the ad impressions share can also be compared to market leader domains. This feature will compare the impression share to the average of the ad share of the top five market leader domains for your suggested keywords.
