Bing Ads has announced its plans to roll out landing pages by match type. On the lines of Google, now Bing also allows advertisers to manage bids, track and change keywords at match type level. It seems that with this announcement, Bing Ads is moving full steam ahead in its plans of matching up to the features and offerings of Google AdWords to make importing of campaigns from AdWords to Bing, easier for advertisers.
The features of the Landing Page by Match Type functionality include:
- It will take 12 hours to enable Landing Page by Match Type for advertiser’s account and during this time Campaigns tab will not be accessible (ads will serve).
- You need Bing Ads Editor version 8.3 or newer. If you have the adCenter Desktop or earlier versions, they will not be able to support Keyword by Match Type.
- You need content match bid or ad group on content network for content match to show up.
