In what it terms as a ‘holiday season special’ roll out, Bing has added sitelink extensions to its results. Now advertisers can link users to their specific landing pages as a part of Paid search campaigns on both Bing and Yahoo. These extensions are available for US advertisers only and at campaign-level, and allow the advertisers to add 10 sitelinks in a campaign.
As Bing said, “Sitelink Extensions will:
- Drive deeper engagement with your potential customers by allowing them to connect directly with relevant and important portions of your site.
- Allow you to create and update additional messaging and information to without modifying your text ads or keywords.”
Advertisers can create Sitelink Extensions via the Bing Ads user interface, or the new Bing Ads Desktop Editor, and the Bing Ads API. One has to follow this route:
Log into Bing Adsà Campaigns tabà ‘ad extensions’ sub-tabàsitelinks extensions
For more details you can head on to the Bing help page.
