Halloween is just around the corner, and people have already started their hunt for costumes and other ideas for October 31. Taking this very fact into account, Bing Ads has announced the release of new data on search performance around the holiday displaying that ad impressions and searches get steady increase during the month of September and October.
Bing Ads, having a look at desktop ad click-through rates for searches on things such as decorations, candy and parties, discovered that CTRs increased during October’s first week. The only exception remained for decorations, which though noticed CTRs peak during the first week of October, but it started declining after that.
CTRs, on costume-related ads, typically did great during October’s second week, but continuously kept declining into Halloween.
Apart from this, Bing Ads has released the most popular search terms and recommended ad copy combinations by category, device and other tips. Here is the full presentation on SlideShare.
