BrightEdge Reports that Google Doesn't Provide Search Query Data for 49%!

In a report released by BrightEdge, for 8,400 brands that were tracked over the last quarter, on an average 49% of the collected queries did not provide the search query data, and the reason being Google's secure search.

The percentage was higher for the technology industry according to BrightEdge. 56 percent of the traffic to software, computer, technology, and electronic websites is coming from the Google secure search. However, in the consumer service and entertainment sites, secure searches percentage is 46%.
