The Google AdSense Blog has announced that now its services will be available in two more languages: Greek and Romanian. The blog post read:
Greek and Romanian publishers can monetize their content by displaying targeted AdSense for content ads on their pages. As an added bonus, Romanian publishers can now implement AdSense for search as well.

Google AdSense blog informs that a referral to Google Apps can earn you $5. However, it seems to be restricted for US users alone.

Just visit the AdSense Setup tab in your AdSense account and click the link for Referrals. Select the Google Apps option and then choose how you want the referral ad to look on your site. (The Google Apps referral ads are available in English right now, but we'll be adding more languages soon.) Copy the code provided into the design of your web pages, and voila!
Google’s new pay-per-action advertising program is sure to be huge favorite with bloggers. There is a nice post by Greg Gershman at Search Engine Journal which explains why the new program will enable bloggers to heighten their earnings from advertisements.

The PPA service enables advertisers to pay a pre-determined amount only when a pre-determined action is completed. Thus it differs from PPC as the payments will not be for clicks only. Jonathan Berger, Google Checkout Product Manager has announced that from now onwards some of the AdSense ads will display Google Checkout shopping cart badge alongside the ad title. This step has been initiated to help the users identify the sites where the users can use Google Checkout while making a purchase. This will allow them to with easy and safe checkout option at the time of a purchase.
There is a thread at Webmasterworld where some members doing som reverse engineering on Google AdSense source codes. A member noticed many variables that were being passed to Google from the AdSense iframe. A sample of them are:
Google has introduced new pricing structures for both AdSense and AdWords. As per Adsense, you could previously earn $100 when your referred publisher earned his first $100 within 180 days. The new system on the other hand rewards $5 when your referred publisher earned only $5 in 180 days. However, the second tier earning is a cool $250. You get this commission when the referred publisher earns $100.
