Search Engine Land reports that, Microsoft is giving away one month of free search advertisements for both its new and current adCenter customers. This reported incentive is believed to have been rolled out marking adCenter's two year anniversary. It has also been reported that Microsoft adCenter might also be introducing a new loyalty scheme for its customers.
Via the Google Inside AdWords Blog, Google has announced the introduction of a new report that is now available in all Google AdWords accounts. This new report is known as the 'Geographic Performance Report'.
This new report is aimed at providing advertisers with information related to the geographic distribution of their impressions, clicks, and conversions down to the ad group level. If an advertiser wishes to know, that from which location he has received the maximum clicks, then he can do so by studying the Geographic Performance Report.

Via the Google Inside AdWords Blog, Google has announced that, come September 2nd 2008, it will carry out a clean-up campaign in Google Adwords. Termed as Ă˘â‚¬Ĺ“Summer CleaningĂ˘â‚¬Âť, all the AdWords reports that were created six months ago, i.e before March 2nd 2008, will be deleted from the Google AdWords records.
However, the deletion of reports will not affect the account data in any manner, whatsoever.
Via Google Inside AdWords, Google has announced that, it is introducing further improvements to the Google AdWords Quality Scores. In the month of June this year, we had informed our readers that Google had introduced landing page load time as a major factor for quality scores. It seems that Google is really very serious about the Quality Scores, as it depicts from our post in July, where Google was penalizing Webmasters for landing page irregularities.
In the month of March this year, Google had released AdWords API Ver.12, replacing the then current version, AdWords API Version 11.
Now, according to Search Engine Roundtable, Google has decided to discontinue the AdWords API Version 11 by August 26th 2008.

Now, via the Google AdWords Agency Blog, Google has announced an update to the AdPlanner tool instilling it with new features to enhance its operational capabilities.
Over at PPC Hero John reports that, Google has begun the removal of Content Network average position indicators or figures. In place of the position indicators, Google is now displaying 'N/A' (not available) to the users.
However, for the meantime, the average position indicators are still visible in the Keywords tab.
It seems that, Google has marked this day, as the 'redesign day' for its services. First, Google released the new revamped Google maps and now according to a thread at Webmaster World, Brett Tabke (CEO, Webmaster World) has pointed out, that there has been a major design change of the Google AdWords Sponsored Links search results. You can check this new design atgoogle.com/sponsoredlinks, by running a search query.
Several Webmasters over at the Webmaster World have reported that, on the 6thanniversary of their Google AdWords accounts, they have received a complimentary package from Google.
