SearchCamp 2009 is bringing together the best minds from the Search Engine Marketing space to talk about search engine advertising, including optimization and marketing issues. The event is scheduled for the 28th February & 1st March 2009 at Tidel Park, Chennai.
This year, the event is divided into two sections. The first day will focus on SEO and the second day on SEM.

PubCon 2007's linking session session was one of the highlights of the event and this session promised to be follow up to the same. The session showcased a critical look at all the different linking strategies and included various topics, such as outbound link optimization, outsourcing link building, old-fashioned linking via directories and hiring an in-house link developer.

The last session of day 3 was about In-house SEO, PPC and campaigns. It covered all the issues experienced by in-house search marketers, which are similar to issues faced by SEO agencies, while performing SEO and PPC campaigns.
One of the most important questions faced by the webmasters today is whether to buy links. Moreover, what are the risks when you do so and are there any substitutes available for the same. The session provided answers to some of these crucial questions and gave more information on the idea of linkfluence.
