Google Adwords for Video program is out of the group testing phase and has been ‘officially’ launched. As the blog post on the YouTube blog said, now the paid search advertising model has been integrated with video content. Advertisers can now promote their businesses with new ad formats and bidding models. In the largest layoff in Yahoo’s 17 year history, the Sunnyvale Company will slash 2,000 jobs which is 14% of its workforce soon. On April 17, during the firm’s first-quarter earnings call, it will offer a blueprint of its "future direction" too, apart from the job cuts. This job slash is the company’s fifth biggest layoff in the past five years. These cuts will add $375 million annually to Yahoo’s kitty as the company tries to get advertisers as well as better its stock prices.

Google is shutting down the direct AdSense For Domains program. The closing down process is divided into stages with the final curtains will fall on April 18, 2012. Google has said that this move will not affect the entire program, only the "direct AdSense for Domains" program.
