According to a report by Click Fraud Index, Click Fraud rate is actually lower than the widely assumed level of 20% to 30%. The report shows that the average overall Click Fraud rate is 13.7 percent.

A recent report presented by Fathom Online says that search engine marketing PPC keyword prices have undergone a tremendous fall in the first quarter of 2006. For example, the average keyword bid has dropped down from $1.43 in Q4 of 2005 to $1.39 in Q1 2006, according to Fathom.

It said that the Webmaster Site was reconstructed a few months back putting all the content into a database driven solution. But, the main mistake was made when, while publishing the new site, an employee of Webmaster World left the "Edit" link open on the frontend, where GoogleBot can easily reach it.
