GoogleBot has said to delete almost all the pages of the Webmaster World site. How? Here is the story. It said that the Webmaster Site was reconstructed a few months back putting all the content into a database driven solution. But, the main mistake was made when, while publishing the new site, an employee of Webmaster World left the "Edit" link open on the frontend, where GoogleBot can easily reach it. Infospace, Inc. has launched a new Infospace Local Search beta site, local.com. This is a compact yellow pages site having information on products, business listings, services and movies. You can also avail the maps and directions from thirty various information providers including Ticketmaster, infoUSA, and Fandango.
 
Brian McManus, EVP sales and business development at InfoSpace said, "We believe that where the market is moving is towards a more consumer-centric local search view." He added that, "The yellow pages are obviously an advertiser-centric view." Users have various options with InfoSpace’s system which enables them to perform multiple-keyword searches and customize searches focused on neighborhood, landmark or point-of-interest.
