Yahoo! has planned to start a new integrated marketing campaign in U.S. and overseas markets that includes television, radio, cinema and online advertsing. The campaign would highlight the new features introduced like the new Yahoo! Homepage, Yahoo Mail Beta and Yahoo Answers and other offerings. Allen Olivo, Yahoo's vice president of global brand marketing said that this is the broadest marketing push the Sunnyvale, California-based company has made in two years.

After the Yahoo! and eBay strategic partnership Yahoo Search Marketing ads for eBay.com now show a Paypal Shopping Cart icon in the ad copy. The addition is much similar to the way Google shows their Google Checkout item next to the ads of participating retailers, showcasing advertisers and merchants who accept Paypal payments. Andrew at Traffick has got some Yahoo! ads showing how Yahoo Search Marketing is following the same route as Google. Yahoo! must work to guarantee their users that using Paypal to purchase online is safe, if it is deciding to bank all its future payment system on a partnership with Paypal.

According to a recent report by Brian Morrissey at Adweek, ESPN is all set to drop Yahoo! Contextual Ads from Espn.com. Instead, ESPN will embark on using Quigo AdSonar. EBay and Yahoo, two top Internet companies announced that they would be working together in several areas, including advertising and online payments. The partnership is "designed to mutually benefit both companies by better serving their user, merchant, and advertising communities in the U.S." The deal will expand Yahoo's share of Internet advertising. Yahoo graphic banner ads will now be displayed on the right side of the ebay Motors home page. The agreement includes integration of eBay’s PayPal into the Yahoo web services and payment options, a co-branded toolbar, and partnering for click-to-call marketing.

Yahoo! has just removed its Blog Search program for a short time. The much popular Yahoo! News integration program is also removed for the time being. The reason behind this is not much clear. The only official quote that can be mentioned is a quote from Brian Nelson of Yahoo! who told Greg that this is a temporary thing. In an email sent from Brian to Greg, Brian said that Blog search has "temporarily taken offline to retool the offering." Brian also adds that Yahoo! "might be thinking bigger picture when it comes to blog content.”
