Yahoo! has announced that they have added some new tools to the Yahoo! Toolbar, including a del.icio.us button. With this initiative, bookmarks and tagging wouldn't remain available to the tech crowd only. Now, the common man can avail bookmarks and tagging with the help of this new Yahoo! Toolbar.

As Google launched its new finance site on tuesday, the already existing Yahoo! Finance take a few steps ahead by introducing new information, multimedia and style features to its finance site. Yahoo! leads the market in terms of its finance category, having an enormous user base of nearly 12 million who visited the site last month. According to the Netratings, Yahoo! is on a verge of expansion which would make its stock charts more convincing.
It has been observed that Yahoo! has removed the block result feature from My Web. Well, the FAQ has not been updated yet. The FAQ still says that the feature is available. It goes like this:
Can I block a site from ever showing in my search results?
Yes. Use the Block link in any search result to block that site from showing in search results for all subsequent searches.
Get all the local news from Yahoo! News. Yahoo! News is now offering Yahoo! Local News headlines. It’s good to see that finally Yahoo! came out with the service though Topix has been doing this for quite a while now.
You can also avail the information from Google, you just need to sign up for Google Personalized Search but the results wouldn't be skimmed. Though Yahoo! Local News doesn't have a "Add this to My Yahoo" but it would be included soon.
With a much noise spread by MSN Adcenter in the recent days, now it seems to be Yahoo!'s turn to beat the drums in the search engine market with its new offerings for the search engine users. On wednesday Yahoo! announced an offer for the users that said it has some lucrative offer for the ones who would prefer Yahoo! as their primary search engine. This particular survey was done on the basis of random sampling that represented nearly 5% of its Yahoo! Main users.
Current reports convey that Yahoo! has added four new API's to its Developer Network. These new API's are for Yahoo! Photos, Yahoo! Calender, Yahoo! MyWeb and Yahoo! Shopping. You can avail the API free of charge at http.//developer.yahoo.net/, for a non-commercial usage. But, don't worry it has also introduced Yahoo! Shopping API for the commercial users. For this, the team at Yahoo! has also opened up an application gallery to showcase some of the great applications created with these API's.

This spell checker tool is especially made for Email Question page, Answer Question page, and comment areas. Now, you can write something without worrying about the spelling. This spell check will check all the spellings for you. This is available on the Ask a Question page and functional with Internet Explorer 6.x, and Firefox 1.5.x browsers.
