After the tool allowing users to preview AdWords ads by geo specific criteria, Google now has a tool oy-oy.eu. The tool allows you to see Google results as if you are in another country. With  the tool located at http://oy-oy.eu/google/world/ you can select the locations you want to compare side by side. The available locations are Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Poland, Russian Federation, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, and Uruguay.

Also, there are a number of data centers to choose. You can type in a search query and then specify location and the data center. Google specifies that the "tool will issue the query you specify through access points in the desired geographic regions."  It recommends Google data center for better comparison. "By using 'www.google.com' as datacenter, you might access different datacenters through the access points."
