Over the past year, Google Analytics team has been working on making improvements in the Real-Time reports and has also come out with updates like real-time supporting profiles, real-time widgets for dashboards, and key analysis improvements. The latest to this addition is the beta launch of new real-time goals report that will let you see how many visitors on your website are converting and against what goals.
The new feature will let you track how the new email newsletter, TV commercial, or ad campaign is performing. Google has launched only URL based goals in the initial launch, so you will not be able to see computed goals such as Pages/Visit or Time on the site.
All the goals that are being tracked will be visible on the UI, irrespective of whether there have been any completions in the past half an hour. For rest of the real time reports, you need to click on a specific goal and the report will be automatically segmented. Basic filters are also applied to goals, which will enable you to analyze goal completions from specific location or any other dimension that you are interested in.Now See your Conversions in Real-time on Google Analytics!,
