Google has announced adding a new diagnostics tab in the Merchant Center for offering consolidated issue reporting for feeds and items. The Data Quality tab is being replaced by this new Diagnostics tab. The aim is to improve troubleshooting efforts for the feeds and items.

Comprehensive product data forms the fundamental core of successful Product Listing Ads. Shopping campaigns for the oncoming holiday season will now have data free of issues so products can be displayed to the shoppers. For identification of issues with the product data, the Diagnostics tab has been introduced in Google Merchant Center. This table will make it easy to get information regarding the health of product data apart from enhancing prioritization of major issues and getting products online.

  • Traffic as well as impact metrics for identifying the many items presently impacted by certain issues

The new Diagnostics tab can be tried out in the Merchant Center account. To learn more about changes to the tab, visit the Google Help Center.
