Webmasters and developers have a reason to grin. They can now use new API backed script to download Google search analytics data and keep it longer than 90 days. A tool has been updated as well to use the API facilitating storage of search analytics data on own server.

John Mueller of Google commented:

“Here's a neat script that downloads your site's Search Analytics data and stores it in a database for long-term use. It's updated to use the new API too”

The script, designed by Paul Shapiro and formerly using the old CSV download feature, has been updated to use the new API.
