If you are a page manager on Facebook, here is a good news for you. The social media giant has silently introduced a new feature this week for page managers enabling them to toggle between their personal and business pages. The option of switching between pages has been available but now you can do so in spontaneous situations including commenting or liking on a page or in a post displayed in the News Feed.

When page you are adding a new post to the page you manage, the default will be that page, although now Facebook has added a drop down option in the upper right corner. This allows page managers to select posting as their personal account or another business page managed by them.

This change is quite a small adjustment but eliminates many extra steps. When you are on the page and want to comment on an update as yourself, you do not need to switch identities, refreshing the page and relocating the page you were on.

This functionality can be of great use for agencies or brands who handle multiple similar pages. It also makes it quite easier for a page manager to interact with their page posts while coming across them in the News Feed. For example, if you are scrolling through your personal News Feed and see that someone just commented on one of your pages and you want to respond as the business you can do that by simply clicking the drop-down on the post and respond as the business.

This feature brings ease in managing multiple pages without having to waste time in switching identities the older way.
