Facebook has announced that it will let the users edit their post even after it has been updated on the wall. Earlier, users were unable to make changes in the post and were left with the only option to delete the old post and update a new one.

The change has already appeared in Android and web in the form of an update and iOS will soon receive the change. Like other newly introduced features by Facebook, this one will also be a gradual rollout, so some of the users will not be able to view the feature right away.

Users can click to edit their post and preserve a viewable history of changes, which will be visible to all friends. To edit a comment, hover over or tap a post & a pencil icon will appear on the right that can be clicked to start editing.
