Gigya has shared the social login statistics, which reveals that Facebook is ahead of Google and Yahoo in terms of social logins. The data is derived from Gigya's client base of over 700 brands.
The stats for Q2 2013 (April-June) showed Facebook as the dominant platform holding a share of 52 percent of all the social logins. Google had 24 percent share, while Yahoo acquired 17 percent.
In the current stats, Google and Yahoo have managed to increase their share to 28 percent and 21 percent respectively; Facebook still receives 44 percent of the total social logins share.
However, Facebook is dominant on eCommerce sites. Gigya said that 79 percent of social logins on the eCommerce sites happen through Facebook while 12 percent are done from Google and 4 percent from Twitter.Facebook Still Outnumbers Google & Yahoo in Terms of Social Logins!,
