Facebook has announced an update in its 'Activity Log' where users can now delete their search activities logged till now. It is believed that within a few weeks, the feature will roll out across all users where they can see their search history and delete it too.
Quoting Facebook, "You’ll be able to see the searches you’re making on Facebook. Just as you can choose to delete any of your posts, you can use the same inline control on Activity Log to remove any of your searches at any time. It’s important to remember that no one else can see your Activity Log, including your search activity."
The feature is being released over the next couple weeks to all Facebook users. Till now users could see and delete their status updates and other activities in the Activity Log. But after this roll out, search history can also be deleted. Speculations are rife about Facebook moving in the search industry. What do you think?
