Facebook has updated its Embedded Posts feature to make its posts look better and load faster on third party sites. The Embedded Posts feature was launched by Facebook back in 2013, which allowed users to embed public Facebook posts on their website. The latest redesign allows users to add visual elements like photos and videos immediately before the post’s text.
Here’s what’s New:
Visual Content First: Users will be able to see visual elements like images and videos before the text of the post or any other content. Posts with images and videos get more views than the plain text content.
Load Time Faster: Now the Embedded Posts will load twice as fast as before. This means no delay in the appearance of the posts even if users embed multiple posts in one story.
Setting Default Widths: While configuring the embed plugin, the width you set becomes the default width for all your posts, so that you don’t have to change it for every post.
