Facebook for business has launched a new help website for companies to market themselves on Facebook. Now this launch may have been due to the massive movement to Google+, but we can't be sure. Anyways, more on the help website.
So, the basic aim for this website is to help companies get more customers easily, through chosen tools for marketing on the social network. A Facebook spokesperson has been quoted on the same as, “The new site provides step-by-step guidance for how to best use Facebook’s marketing tools. We want to inspire small businesses by seeing how other businesses have found success on Facebook by sharing their stories.” Facebook is offering a whole new helping hand- all of you who have their brands on Facebook, you can now expect better results. And all of you who are not on Facebook yet, grab the hand for smarter marketing strategies.
The broad tools that the site will focus on include:
Pages- This will guide companies and brands to set up their pages and then use various new tools to promote it further and effectively.
Ads- This will enable brands to place Ads on Facebook in the most effective manner. With a user base of 750 million, it is important that your Ad reaches the right audience.
Sponsored Stories- This marketing tool works on the tremendous approach of 'word of mouth'. You get to learn how your brand is promoted effortlessly, when a friend talks about it to another friend and the chain continues.
Social Plugins- These little widgets are highly effective in transforming your page into a social hub. Some new plugins have been introduced in the new site.
With this site, Facebook is making another effort in aiding brands towards better marketing. Prior to this, the Facebook Ads process has generated some issues among buyers. Then the social platform also provided the option of promoting the brand through sponsored recommendations. After the launch of the Facebook Studio (aimed at appreciating the well performing brands on Facebook), this new site is another attempt to make the advertisers happy. Will it work? We'll have to see.
