Google has introduced the much awaited PDF support for its popular Google Docs. Google Docs is a free-to-use Web-based word processor and spreadsheet and is compatible with .DOC, .XLS, .ODT, .ODS, .RTF, .CSV, .PPT, and others.
Google had been receiving numerous requests for PDF compatibility as it is a widely used format. Working on the feedback, Google has now enabled uploading, previewing and sharing of PDF files using Google Docs. However, as of now, users won't be able to edit the text, but will surely be able to copy and paste it.
To get started, click the Upload button in the Docs home toolbar, select a PDF file from your computer and off you go!
