Google Acquires Four Percent Stake In Chinese Video Site

Google has invested nearly $5 million to gain four percent stake in Chinese web site, Xunlei.com. This site enables users to download music and video clips from Internet. Google has not revealed financial details of the deal. Sources close to Google informed that the search engine giant has invested in the Chinese Web site to promote its products in China's fast-growing Internet market. Although, Google is the most dominant search engine in World, but in China,it is far behind the local search engine Baidu.com. Will the recent deal strengthen Goolgle's hold in China?
