The data highlighter rich snippet market tool by Google is now updated with support for six additional data types. The tool was introduced in December 2012 in order to let tech-savvy webmasters markup their event based data. The tool however, worked only with the event data.

The update can be seen in the help page that displayed six new data types along with the events data type. The additions include:

It is expected that Google will continue to add more data types of the highlighter tool.
