As seen on Mashable Google AdSense is experimenting streaming videos in their online content. Publishers control which and when ads are played while also having the option to select specific ads for specific videos.

With the new application, AdSense publishers have “more control to further monetize their videos and offer something other than pre- or post-roll ads, or inline ads, which are often difficult to obtain without going through a video hosting service that has already set up relationships with ad distribution networks.”

Kristen Nicole of Mashable writes, "We’ll probably see this feature released with a lot of larger businesses, but I’m hoping to see a system such as this one offered out to the loyal users of YouTube."
