In the last weeks users have reporting the new label with green outline replacing the solid green background of the AdWords’ label. More and more number people have now been reporting it globally. Google have confirmed the news to Search Engine Land that the new look is rolling out globally.

“We routinely test potential improvements to the look and feel of our search results page. After experimenting with a new search ad label with a green outline, we’ve decided to roll it out. The new ad label is more legible and continues to make our results page easier to read for our users with clear indication of our ad labeling,“ said the Google spokesperson.

The transition from solid green label to the is still not over and will take several days.
