AdWords Editor 12 is now available for all advertisers across the globe. Google announced it in an official blogpost. The new version has a new design with new features like faster account downloads,
custom rules and more.

New Look and Feel

The new design is in alignment wit Google’s commitment to material design. Changes are subtle and won’t affect how you manage your accounts. The visual experience will be more cohesive across AdWords Editor, the new AdWords experience, and other Google Products.

Faster account downloads for new AdWords Editor versions

More of your data from previous versions will be transferred to reduce the time advertisers spend waiting for their accounts to download after they update AdWords Editor.

Build High Performing Campaigns with Custom Rules

AdWords Editor 12 lets you use custom rules to check for changes that don’t align with your best practices. “For example, our best practices suggest showing search ads with four or more sitelinks. When you use this rule, AdWords Editor will let you know which campaigns or ad groups don’t meet this best practice before your post changes. You can get started by using our recommended rules, or create custom rules based on your own best practices.”
