Google has launched two new tools Ready Image Ads and Ready Ad Gallery at the IAM MIXX. The tools will make it easier to create IAB standard and HTML 5 compatible ads on the fly. Since, iPhone and iPad support HTML5 instead of Flash, the new tools from Google will let advertisers create display ads, which run on these devices.

All users would need to do is add a URL and display ad will be automatically created on the basis of the images present on their website. Users can later customize the text, color, font, headlines, display URL, as well as upload new images.

The Ready Ad Gallery will have templates that can be customized by advertisers based on their campaign requirements.

When you want to create Ready Ads in your campaign from Web UI, you will have to choose to add a new Image ad. The first timers will be prompted with a window that will include URL from their website. They can edit the URL or click on “Create an ad”. The tool will afterwards scan the website, pull in the images, and create a selection of ad creative options that are available in different IAB standard sizes.

Display ads for engagement ads, video ads, dynamic ads, and general purpose ads can be created from different templates by using Ready Ads.

The Display ad builder feature is still present in the AdWords. It is however not clear if Google will withdraw it or take both the options further.
