Google has announced the launch of a new product extension called, Seller Extension Rating on Google AdWords.

This feature will make it easy to identify those merchants with a high rate. Now how does this work? Well, what does seller rating extensions do is, they attract the star rating of the merchant from Google product search to the AdWords ads .

These are the star ratings that allow the browsers to find the highly recommended merchants by the online shoppers, that means it will show only those merchants who have 30 or more ratings. Google added, that as of now, this seller extension rating would show the results in English language on Google.com.

Lets give it a try and search for ipod touch, the result would come on the top right side.

@searchenginewebsite: the thirty sales requirement was probably put in place to make sure they're real customer reviews, so it's kinda really necessary to ensure the ratings are real.
