Google AdWords Blog has reported that they are going to retire the Adwords reporting center tab very soon. The reports that were used to be under the reporting center tab will now be shifting to the campaign tabs, where the users used to maintain their files and other reports. Google said that the users can now access all those reports that they had under the report center tab, on the same pages where they used to manage their campaigns. To this Google added they “plan to gradually move the existing reports from the Report Center into the Campaigns tab, then retire the Report Center entirely.”
Hearing this statement from the Google many users are in dilemma of how to save those files and reports that they have under the report center tab, because as per Google, they will remove this tab anytime soon.
Well there is nothing to worry about loosing the data or files because Google is taking full responsibility to move all the key elements from reporting tab to the campaigns tab. They have also planned to delete the option 'create the same file in reporting center' from the campaigns tab. And when the reports will be completely transferred from report center tab to campaigns tab, Google will automatically discard the report center tab. Now the users can access, download and schedule their reports in the same single tab.
However, Google has stated about two exceptions to this decision and they are for those users who use the My Client Center reports and reports for TV ads won’t be transfered.
