Google has announced the revamp of reporting feature available in AdWords for video. While the video campaigns were still isolated from other AdWords campaigns, new reporting changes will make it easier for advertisers to measure the performance.
Advertisers running TrueView video campaigns will be able to access the insights in AdWords. The new dashboard will pull more data from YouTube, so advertisers will not have to toggle back and forth between YouTube analytics and AdWords to see the overall performance of their videos in terms of organic traffic & from ads.
The Audience retention graph will provide analysis on when the interest of the user in a video falls off in non-paid and in-stream views.
Also, there’s a holistic view of the contribution of each video to an account’s performance.
