The three major forums of the industry are indicating towards it.

At Digital Point Forum:

Well I just checked one of my sites at http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ and noticed one of my site's that had 13 backlinks is down to 3 ..then I checked my CPayscom2 Online Casino website and noticed it went from 68 to 0 …but no PR changes on either, the one that went from 13 to 3 is still a 4 on all dc's..could this possibly be the beginning of Google updating its PR/backlinks?..anyone else noticing differences?

At SEO Round Table:

Not algo but looks like its a update on the good old back links.. Why imho.. serps down on sites not getting new links serps up on sites getting new links Simple as that… so major movement in long standing serps.

At Webmaterworld Forums:

The observation about fewer double entries rings a bell with me — even going back a few weeks. In fact I begin to wonder if there is some extra barrier in place to go from #11 to #10. Yes, I'm also seeing some minor shuffling today.
