Using Times Center Stage on Monday afternoon, Google, through one of its blog posts on AdWords, announced that it would be rolling out its two new much anticipated and much demanded features, dubbed as Customer Match and Universal App Campaigns.

The Customer Match will enable advertisers to bid and create ads customized to customers segments in search, as well as YouTube Trueview ads and Gmail ads. This feature also accounts for more powerful and useful advertising, as you will be able to directly appeal to your audience, instead of basing advertising fully on site visitor behaviour.

As Sridhar Ramaswamy, Senior Vice President, Ads and Commerce, has written:

“70% of online consumers agree that the quality, timing, and relevance of a brand’s message influences their perception of a brand.”
