After announcing and working on it for two months, Google now has updated the Google bar, giving it a more consistent look, up to date user experience and increased visibility. Driven by the goal of making Google bar more simple yet beautiful and intuitive, these changes are said to have based on various feedbacks that were received by Google since November.

The new design retains most of the changes made back in November such as unified search box and Google+ sharing and notifications across Google. The most notable change that has been incorporated is the replacement of the drop-down Google menu with a consistent and expanded set of links that runs across the top of the page. Google will be rolling out their newest version of Google bar over next few weeks. Meanwhile, users are encouraged to read about the new update and provide feedback.
