It was in the month of December 2008, when Google promised to fix the blogroll issue. But despite of all that, complaints were still floating regarding the Google Blog Search's matching skills.

And now Barry at Search Engine Roundtablereports that according to Googler Jeremy Hylton, Google will release a "user visible experiments” next week, in order to target Google Blog Search's issue with "blogroll detectors" and the link queries in a better way! Here is what he has to say in his post at Google Groups thread

“This is just a brief status report. We've been continuing to experiment with blogroll detectors. We're going to do some user- visible experiments early next month, probably starting with link: queries. I'll follow up here when the experiments are running.”

Discussion is going on at Google Groups .
