Google+ brand posts will find no mention on Knowledge Graph cards now. These will appear just like other social updates in the search results. Google has discontinued the practice of displaying Google+ posts of several brands.

As a Google spokesperson stated, the step was taken to bring in more consistency. However, those who like networking on Google+ need not feel disheartened as posts will still appear within the search results page. It is just that these have been removed from the Knowledge Cards.

The Google+ posts now appear along with tweets and other publicly crawlable posts on any other social network. This was expected as Google has been working on integrating Google+ with other networks regarding search results. Earlier this year, the search engine giant began placing other social profiles on the Knowledge Graph cards. Gradually, they did away with the promotion of social media service.

For active marketers on Google+, appearance of Google+ posts in the Knowledge Graph was a big advantage. The change is limited to the Knowledge Graph and Google+ follower information along with ad extensions is still displaying for AdWords ads.
