Google has announced the broadening of Google Patents with the addition of documents from new patent agencies: Canada, China, Germany, and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Google is hoping that most of these document will provide prior art for future patent applications and improve the quality of patents in the United States and globally.

So, if you want to know more about German valve for inflating bicycle tires or read about the One leg bicycle pedaling mechanism by WIPO or a Chinese dual-drive bicycle, this along with millions of other inventions are available on Google Patents.

The Google Translate will make the patents available in their original languages and English. The search for a patent can be performed using any of the languages. In case of multiple submission languages, users can move in-between by clicking on the tab at the top of the page.
