Google Ignores Links, not all Bad Links are Harmful!

Google came up announcing that they ignore links on Updowner.com. After hearing to complains of webmasters, claiming a link from Updowner.com as the most famous link in their Webmaster Tools. So, every time when a webmaster encounters an unnatural link warning or is hit by a penguin, he/she assume it to be related to Updowner.com. Google’s John Mueller commented,”we do ignore the links from updowner.com.” Google has never publicly announced about ignoring a link from a particular site before.

Since 2007, Google has penalized a number of sites for their 'selling paid links' and 'buying links'. Lately, the search engine giant introduced notifications against 'artificial link warnings' and 'Penguin' update that led many webmasters cleaning their external links.

There are many links that may look dangerous but do not harm you computer. Google completely ignore such links. In a video from 2007, Google's Matt Cuss informed can lose the ability to be deprived of passing any page rank. This strategy has been followed by Google. Avoiding links may prove beneficial for Google to let its search results stay relevant.

However, the search engines have come up with Disavow Link Tools. Bing has already launched the Tool and Google has announced to launch it soon. The tool will help webmasters to protect themselves from bad and harmful links. Google has ignored many links that may harm the site which appear in search results.
