Google Image Search has added the option of "Usage Rights" to search tools. Although, usage rights feature in search & filter images has been around since 2009, Matt Cutts has now announced the addition of these features to the main filter option on search tools. Users will no longer have to dig into the "advanced image search" features to get an access to these features.

The users have to however keep in mind that despite filtering for creative common rights, there are chances that the image found is stolen from a source that does not permit reuse. So, you have to be really careful while using the feature as well as the images on your site.
