Google has once again come up with an all new formula to help advertisers make quick and effective decisions about marketing their apps via AdWords. Google announced in a blog post that by linking your Analytics and AdWords accounts and enabling auto tagging, you can now receive a new set of detailed reports which will give a clear picture of your display and search campaigns for mobile apps.

The new reports, placed under the Acquisition menu for Google Analytics App Views, will allow the marketers to:

  • Get a deeper understanding of the audience they are drawing towards their app.
  • Know how the users are exercising their app.
  • Find out when the users are interacting with their campaigns.
  • Identify which keywords are attracting new users.

With the new reports rolling out in a few days, the advertisers can now concentrate on optimising rather than manually tagging AdWords campaign.
